We have received an invite to raise a 4 man/woman team to represent sussex clarets at a golf tournament in Portugal.
I have no idea of costs as yet. Just wanted to get an idea if anyone is interested.
Details I have so far are:
How proud would you be to challenge other football fans from around the Country for the right to be crowned “Golf Champions of Football”.
We are currently launching our inaugural Annual Golf Tournament to find out which set of supporters really have what it takes on the Golf course.
We can accommodate 92 four man teams which will be entered into the tournament on one of our three event dates:
Tuesday 25th May to Friday 28th May 2010
Tuesday 1st June to Friday 4th June 2010
Saturday 5th June to Tuesday 8th June 2010
The players can choose which date would suit them on a first come first allotted basis.
Itinerary
• Transfers from and to Faro Airport
• Three Nights 5 star Accommodation including breakfast
• Two Rounds of competition Golf on Vila Sol Championship Courses
• Welcome pack of quality supporting team products (Polo Shirts, various Golf products £80.00 retail value per player)
• Gala presentation Dinner including house wines and water
• Buffet after each days Golf
• All on site transfers
• Prize table and special awards.
• Longest drive
• Nearest the pin
• Entry in to the competition
• Discounted services at Vila Sol
The format for this tournament would be playing off the white Tees and playing off a ¾ of full official handicap and stableford format best two scores to count and best three scores to count on par 3s.
1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th place prizes will be awarded at each event and the overall winners over the three events will earn the crown “ Golf Champions of Football 2010”.
